A 24-year-old man was arrested by Kingston, Canada, police last week for trying to rain on a Christmas parade by telling children there was no such thing as Santa Claus.
According to the Toronto Star, the unidentified suspect, who was intoxicated at the time, faces charges of public intoxication and disturbing the peace. "It was pretty despicable that someone, during this time of the year, would tell kids Santa isn't real -- which of course we would argue," Constable Steve Koopman told the paper.
It is unknown how the suspect pleaded, though it's certain Santa sentenced him to the naughty list.
