2000 - Kenny Chesney wrapped up his 2000 tour with a sold out concert in Johnson City, Tennessee.

1999 - Clint Black performed during halftime of the Dallas Cowboys game to help the Salvation Army kick off its annual holiday fund drive.

1997 - Garth Brooks finally released his Sevens album after much delay.

1961 - The Everly Brothers were inducted into the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and reported for duty at California's Camp Pendleton.
