Dancing with the Stars, Season 14

DWTS Results Recap: The Last Four Standing Claim Their Spots in the Semi-Finals
After a tough show on Monday in which every contestant raised their game by either giving stellar performances or taking big risks, our celebs enter what may be the most important results show of the season. With only two weeks remaining, the competition is fierce and everybody has their game faces on.
The most at risk for elimination are Roshon Fegan and Melissa Gilbert. Now, you may be surprised that I picked Roshon here since he was one of the top two scorers from Monday nights show, but he has made consistent appearances in the bottom two despite his ability to dance. To me, that means the voting audience just isnt connecting with him and that means danger when it comes to his future in this competition. As far as Melissa goes, while she has improved over the past couple of weeks, its too little too late, and when you compare her talents to the other celebs left, it just falls short. Its as simple as that.

Things get started with an encore dance selected by the judges. They pick Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyds jive with Karina Smirnoff.
You know, I thought the trio dance round would be kind of awkward and weird, but I feel that it really worked. It shook up the competition, especially for Maria Menounos and Derek Hough. They achieved a solid score of 28 for their individual routine, but their risky trio dance earned them a 25, the lowest score of the round, so it really dropped them down the leader board.
Anyway, I hope they bring back the trio dances next season maybe even a little earlier in the competition. I think working with an additional pro was really helpful to some of the celebs. Im looking at you, Roshon.
Lets get to Results!
9:05 PM/ET
First up, we have Donald and Peta and Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas. Donald was great on Monday night. They should make it to the semi-finals. While Katherine didnt have her best night when it came to her individual dance, she really brought it for her trio dance with Mark and Tristan MacManus. I think shell make it through as well. Katherine is still the frontrunner in this game.
Donald and Peta are safe.
Katherine and Mark are in jeopardy. I think thats the first time thats happened for her this season.
9:14 PM/ET
Awesome! Its DanceCenter with Kenny Mayne, Jerry Rice and Len Goodman. This segment is always hilarious haha. It really gives Len a chance to poke fun of himself which is always a good time although, I could have done without that clip of Len jogging with his shirt off.
9:18 PM/ET
Chris Brown shows up in the ballroom to sing Turn Up the Music from his upcoming new album. He really has some moves. It would be interesting to see him compete on DWTS.
9:26 PM/ET
Its time for more results. William Levy and Cheryl Burke and Roshon and Chelsie Hightower are up. William rocked it on Monday night. He received a perfect score from the judges on his foxtrot and was fantastic during his paso doble trio dance. While Roshon really stepped up his game this week, I just dont think it was enough. If only he could have connected with the audience, he would have been this seasons Kyle Massey.
Roshon and Chelsie are going home. Wow, I figured theyd pull the trigger on actual eliminations a little later in the show. Its always sad to see a talent go home.
9:34 PM/ET
We head to DanceCenter one more time to find out Kenny, Jerry and Lens thoughts on Maria, Melissa and Donald. OMG their discussion on Marias laugh was hilarious. She has to have the most annoying laugh on the planet. It kind of reminds me of Janice, Chandlers ex from Friends.
9:40 PM/ET
DWTS pays homage to the legendary Dick Clark and American Bandstand with a retro-flavored performance from the pros and the troupe. It was kind of cool that they had some of the original dancers from Bandstand in the audience.
9:46 PM/ET
We get another peek at DWTS live show in Las Vegas as two of the dancers from the cast perform.
9:49 PM/ET
Finally, we have some more results. Maria and Melissa take the stage. Despite Marias appearance as part of the bottom portion of the scoreboard, I think the audience will come through and save her. She really has been a consistent performer so far in this competition. It would be a shame if she was voted out due to a risk in choreography. Apparently, Bollywood isnt a great theme for the ballroom and the judges. Melissa has got to be worried here.
Maria and Derek are safe.
Melissa and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy are in jeopardy.
9:58 PM/ET
Its final results time. Just to recap, Roshon has already been eliminated and Katherine and Melissa are in jeopardy.
It would be really shocking if Katherine is voted off the show. She is just so good, and I really think she has a fantastic shot at earning the Mirror Ball Trophy.
Melissa and Maks are eliminated and on her birthday, too! Ugh that sucks. But, she has such a great attitude about it all.
Dancing with the Stars will be back in action with the semi-finals on Monday, May 14th at 8PM/ET on ABC. Until then
