2006 - Trace Adkins' album Dangerous Man was released.

2005 - Faith Hill gave the first of two shows at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. Her husband Tim McGraw also appeared at the shows. They were filmed for her Thanksgiving Eve special, Faith Hill: Fireflies.

2001 - Rascal Flatts' self-titled debut album was certified gold.

1995 - Roy Clark performed "Yesterday, When I Was Young" at Mickey Mantle's funeral.

1991 - Alan Jackson and Vince Gill were the lead nominees for the CMA Awards with six nods each. Garth Brooks picked up five.

1987 - On the tenth anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley, thousands of people marched past his grave in Memphis, Tennessee.
