2007 - Joe Nichols sang "I'll Wait for You" and "Wings of a Dove" at the funeral of Anna Nicole Smith in the Bahamas.

2006 - Eric Church's video for "How 'Bout You" debuted.

2006 - Former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood returned to the show to sing "Jesus, Take the Wheel."

2002 - Brad Paisley's video for "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin' Song)" premiered.

1999 - Garth Brooks went to bat for the first time in spring training at the San Diego Padre's camp in Arizona. He struck out.

1996 - Martina McBride scored her first number one hit with "Wild Angels."

1987 - Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris released their album Trio.
