1976 - Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson went to number one with their duet "Good Hearted Woman."

1953 - The late Hank Williams hit number one with "Kaw-Liga."

1948 - Little Jimmy Dickens made his first appearance on the Grand Ole Opry.
