1996 - Wynonna married former husband Arch Kelley in Nashville.

1989 - Rodney Crowell topped the country chart with his single "She's Crazy for Leaving."

1985 - Wanted: The Outlaws featuring Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Jessi Colter and Tompall Glaser and the album Waylon & Willie were both certified double platinum. Waylon Jennings' Greatest Hits was certified triple platinum.

1950 - Red Foley took "Chattanoogie Shoe Shine Boy" to number one on the country chart.
