2009 - Sugarland performed "Silent Night" with Jennifer Hudson on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Tim McGraw was also on the program singing John Lennon's "Happy Xmas (War is Over)" with Alicia Keys.

2002 - Brad Paisley's video for "I Wish You'd Stay" premiered on CMT.

2002 - Rascal Flatts got their first number one hit with "These Days."

1995 - Martina McBride joined the Grand Ole Opry during the taping of the CBS special Grand Ole Opry 70th Anniversary Celebration.

1990 - Garth Brooks' album No Fences went double platinum, making it his first multi-platinum certification.
