2002 - Emily Robinson of the Dixie Chicks had her son Charles in San Antonio.

1995 - George Strait began a four-week stay at number one with "Check Yes or No."

1993 - Crystal Gayle performed at the dedication of the Vietnam Women's Memorial in Washington, D.C.

1975 - Reba signed her first recording contract with Mercury Records.
