1999 - The all sisters country trio SheDaisy made their debut on the Grand Ole Opry.
1994 - Toby Keith went to number one with "Who's That Man."
1984 Anne Murray won the Country Music Associations Album of the Year Award for A Little Good News. Murray was the first woman to achieve this honor.
1977 - The Kendalls scored their first number one hit with "Heaven's Just A Sin Away."
