2001 - Aaron Tippin began recording "Where the Stars and Stripes and The Eagle Fly."

2001 - Toby Keith hit number one with "I'm Just Talkin' About Tonight."

2000 - Kenny Chesney got his first double platinum album for Everywhere We Go.

1992 - George Strait's Pure Country soundtrack was released.

1981 - Alabama picked up its first platinum album for Feels So Right.
