2009 - Tim McGraw stopped his show in Paso Robles, California to have security kick a man out of the audience. The guy apparently had a woman in a headlock and Tim told him, "You don't treat a woman like that. Get outta here!"

2005 - Dierks Bentley was invited to join the Grand Ole Opry during his show at the House of Blues in Los Angeles.
2003 - Lonestar took the top spot with "My Front Porch Looking In."
2003 - Keith Urban's video for "Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me" premiered.
1999 - Shania Twain's album Come on Over was certified for shipments of 12 million copies, beating her previous project The Woman in Me as the best-selling country album by a female artist.
1986 - Randy Travis earned his first number one with "On the Other Hand."
1968 - Jeannie C. Riley recorded "Harper Valley P.T.A."
