2005 - Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts got engaged to Tiffany Fallon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

2005 - Craig Morgan's video for "Redneck Yacht Club" premiered.

2004 - Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss' video for "Whiskey Lullaby" premiered.

2001 – Legend Chet Atkins died at the age of 77.

1995 - Garth Brooks received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in front of Capitol Records. He buried the masters to his best of collection, The Hits, underneath the star.

1993 - Kenny Chesney signed his first recording contract with Capricorn Records.

1987 - K.T. Oslin's album 80's Ladies was released.
