Jake Owen Proves He's A True Waylon Jennings Fan
Jake Owen is up for Best New Artist at the CMA Awards this Wednesday, and he'll be sporting a new good luck charm on his arm -- a tattoo of Waylon Jennings' eagle logo. Jake says, "I've always wanted it, but I have to find the right place in time and in my mind." Jake uses it as a reminder of everything Waylon stood up for with his music. He tells us, "There is not a day that goes by that I do not listen to Waylon Jennings...It's like the soundtrack to my life...the songs and the grit and the feel." You can tell that Waylon means a lot to Jake. He's pictured wearing a Waylon Jennings t-shirt on the cover of his latest CD, Easy Does It.
